Can You Believe It?!?

 Hello Everyone!

I start every season explaining how the season goes by "in a blink" - and well......that blink is almost completed!

State Championships are this Saturday and I couldn't be more excited to watch and hear y'all THROW DOWN on the field at Warwick HS.  I and the staff have been so impressed with how hard everyone has worked and we know that you will go out and have an amazing performance!  I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!

Please be prepared with ALL your uniform and equipment things this Saturday and make sure you dress in layers.  When you arrive (in the dark) on Saturday morning, it will be quite chilly.  But by the time you perform, it should be decently comfortable fall temps.  Bring a snack and pack a lunch!  I don't think we will have time for concessions with the limited amount of time between performing and awards.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this season so wonderful!  Boosters, Parents, Friends, Family, Truck Drivers, Custodians......you all are so important to the success of this group.  I am blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people!

Okay, Mother Nature, ENOUGH!

 UGH!

We can't seem to break this cycle of wet stuff on the weekends!

There are modifications to our Friday night in the Newsletter.  PLEASE wear things that will keep you dry in the wet stuff tomorrow!  Trash bags, ponchos, rain coats/bibs are all acceptable!

However, Saturday looks like it will be a wonderful day for OUR FIRST COMPETITION!!  Woo-Hoo!!

Dress appropriately for the day and evening.  Temps might be comfortable for rehearsal but they may be chilly at night for watching and awards.  Be prepared!

Alright!  Here we GOOOOOOoooooooo!

PS:  If you or someone you know has welding equipment and skills, I can use your help to build a couple props!  Email me:)

NEWSLETTER NO. 6

Here we GOOOOOO?

Our first Show Day is upon us!

Or is it?

Mother Nature looks to have her hand in the situation for the weekend but nothing will be determined until Saturday morning.  When inclement weather hits a show weekend, each show host determines if their show runs as planned, is moved inside for a stand-still performance, or cancelled altogether.  There is construction currently underway at Downingtown West and I don't believe they have the option to move the show inside.  I could be wrong so we just have to "stay tuned" to see what they decide.  In the Newsletter, you will see that there is an alternate schedule for Saturday if the show gets cancelled.  YES WE WILL STILL HAVE REHEARSAL!  There is so much yet to learn!

SHOW DAY!!

 Almost There!

Ten days until our first competition!  Exciting times await us all!  You are working very hard and the product you are putting on the field is really starting to come together:)

Couple Things:

1.  Please bring in your Theme Shirt money in an envelope with your name and total.

2.  I will find out this week how much Dinkles and Dance Shoes are and then you will need to bring             that in as well.

3.  Are there any parents with a large truck that can pick up props we are borrowing/purchasing?

4.  Are there any parents that do welding work?

Entering Phase Three!

 Hello Everyone!

We are now entering Phase Three of the season where we begin to work toward our Competitive Season!  Our first SHOW DAY is in two weeks on September 23!  It is the Downingtown East show but it is held at Downingtown WEST where the stadium is located.

There is A LOT that is going to be happening in the next few weeks - uniforms, flags, shoes, theme shirts, and more!  Please make sure to keep up with the Newsletters and the information that is being sent out to everyone.

Also - a quick shout-out to all the PARENTS who are absolutely rockin it in so many ways!  Concessions, uniform fittings, spirit wear, pot luck, shirts, accounting, pickups and dropoffs, etc. Thank you all SO MUCH for all you do!

Long Weekend and Push for Downingtown

 Hello Everyone!

Congratulations on an amazing first performance last week at the first Football Game!  Let's do it again tonight!

After tonight, you have a wonderful, long weekend to rest and relax.  When we come back on Tuesday, we start our push to add more to the program for our first SHOW DAY at Downingtown East (which is actually held at Downingtown West where the stadium is).  Times for that day, September 23, will be available soon but plan on a 10am report time.
